TrueView was set up to do one thing, and one thing well; connect you to new people through the things you love doing. Launched into the Apple App store in November 2012, TrueView is a small start-up based at the Wayra UK academy in the heart of London. The three co-founders after winning investment from Wayra have spent the last 6 months building a product that they believe will revolutionize how you meet new people through your smartphone and the things you love doing.

Andrew Ibbotson – Co-Founder & Business Brain

From an IT sales background Andrew is the driving force behind the project. Being an online dater himself quickly realized that something needed to change and that connecting people via their socio and interest graphs gave you a greater understanding of people and their personalities, more so than the static, sales like C.V that people were finding so hard to create and upload to a desktop experience.  Being a service that utilizes your smartphone makes it easier to use, update and connect to new people during your busy city lifestyle.

Matt Verity – Co-Founder & Design/Creative Maestro

With 9 years digital design and creative experience Matt has built the TrueView brand from the ground up.  Designing the app so it not only looks good but that it fits easily into people’s daily lives was paramount. Simple navigation and quick status updates means that people can build a profile effortlessly and dynamically whilst on the go. Applying social media behavior to a product that helps you connect to new people seemed so obvious, and utilizing Matt’s core skills meant it would look pretty good too.

Damian Mitchell – Co-Founder & Tech Ninja

Damian has over 15 years development experience across multiple disciplines and languages. Spending the majority of his career in the digital agency world he has built award winning campaigns, built tech departments and brought innovation into the heart of many digital campaigns. At TrueView he has worked his fingers to the bone to make sure our service is robust, usable and full of developers magic. He is a true coding ninja who took a sketch on the back of a fag packet and turned it into a reality.

Damo’s TrueView:  Obsessed with chicken, martial arts and thinks he is the next Jimmy Hendrix
